May 17, 2004 -- Harmony Marketing Group released Harmony Content Manager 1.3, a major update to the company's web content management system. Harmony Content Manager is browser-based software that enables non-technical staff to update websites without learning HTML. New features include WYSIWYG text editing, document uploads, 20 new widgets for webpage templates, and fixes for a number of reported issues.

The new graphical editing interface makes editing website text as easy and familiar as using a word processor. And the addition of document uploads means that it's easier than ever to share PDF files, Word documents or other downloads with website visitors.

New features in Harmony Content Manager 1.3

  • Harmony Content Manager'srich-text editor offers WYSIWYG editing for article content and descriptions, as well as the tip editor.
  • The new "download" article type allows documents to be added to websites via Harmony Content Manager's easy-to-use interface. (A tabbed interface allows users to select from four article types: Text, Link, Download, Raw HTML).
  • Twenty new template widgets provide enhanced control over the design of Harmony Content Manager's custom page templates.
  • New settings in the Harmony Content Manager Setup and Site Setup dialogs allow administrators and webmasters to set max-size limits on document uploads.
  • Moxie Code now allows underlined text.
